Welcome to my first blog of 2024. A bit of a slow start in many ways, but when you get to my age, you have to make allowances and take it steady.
Although I am still buzzing through to my Irish roots from having watched the France v Ireland Rugby match last Friday.
Followed up by a classic soccer game on Saturday, when my home town club Luton went toe to toe with Newcastle in an amazing 4-4 draw.
Sport does not get much better than that!

New memberships are always available and unlike everything else in the world today, the cost has not increased, for individuals it costs just £175 pa, and its £455 for a 12 months company membership. If you know of any individuals or companies that would be interested in becoming a member please do let me know who to contact.
I am also looking for any members, or non members, to contact me, if they would like to host, or sponsor an event for the Protect Association this year. Its a great way to raise your company profile. We have a Zoom Licence, if it’s a remote event, and in-person events are very welcome too.

It was great to meet up with new people and some familiar faces too. It was also a bit weird walking from City Thameslink to Moorgate, I stopped at several traffic lights along the way but there was hardly any cars or lorries at all, just a few bikes using the roads.
