Its been a tough start to the year for so many of us. The cold weather, the energy and cost of living crisis, the various and seemingly never ending programme of strikes, and warnings of more to come.
Hopefully things will improve, even if they don’t, we will just have to get on with it.
Even when its cold and miserable, we can still be kind. There will be so many more people worse off than us.
In the regulated financial services markets the FCA’s Consumer Duty will be the headliner. Hopefully we will embrace it and start to grow a better and more trusted image with the population, especially if we detect and look after the most vulnerable ones amongst us.
